    The Sustainability Report
    as a tool for competitiveness
    16 Aprile 2019 - 03:00 pm

In recent months, more and more companies are moving towards structured IT solutions for the preparation of sustainability reports. This is not only because governments and scholarships around the world require it (and Italy is no exception).

Sustainability reportin, in fact, is now also done by companies that are not subject to regulatory requirements precisely because the companies themselves intend to respond to the customer and, in general, to all stakeholders in the way they do business. This is because they have understood that the search for competitiveness cannot but pass from the adaptation of their business models to the new needs of an external community that are increasingly measured and controlled in the sustainability report rather than in the civil one.

To date, however, the existing tools in the company do not best support a distributed process that provides for peripheral contributions and intermediate authorization levels aimed at producing aggregated data to be included in the sustainability document. In a process that is only performed once a year because the tools available take a long time to perform this task, which is still the responsibility of the CSR function. When, on the other hand, it would be desirable to be able to monitor some of the indicators linked to strategic initiatives even more often, so as not to notice the result only when it is too late to take corrective action.

The presentation will allow you to see the possibilities that the tool CCH Tagetik provides, with the contribution of Laura Gallotti, who will participate in the event by telling their design experience.
