From 19 to 21 May, CCH® Tagetik inTouch 2026 took place, one of the most important international events for the Finance community. An event that every year brings together clients, partners and experts to discuss the evolution of Corporate Performance Management processes.
For AKC, this edition held special significance. Not only because of our participation in an event that has long been a benchmark for the sector, but also because it took place during a phase of strong evolution for our company, marked by our entry into the VISEO group — a strategic choice designed to accelerate our path of international growth and further strengthen our value proposition.
Three days packed with meetings, content and moments of exchange, during which we had the opportunity to engage with clients and partners from various countries, bringing our contribution to topics that are central to Finance today: integrated planning, data governance, performance management, technological innovation and the transformation of decision-making processes.
The event
CCH® Tagetik inTouch 2026 brought the platform’s global community together in Lucca to explore the main market developments and the challenges that are redefining the role of the Finance function. This edition’s theme, “Own the Future”, clearly summarizes the direction of change: supporting Finance Departments in the shift from a logic of control and reporting to an increasingly strategic role, capable of anticipating scenarios, interpreting data and driving fast, well-informed decisions.
In a context characterized by growing complexity and volatility, Finance is called upon to become a true enabler of business transformation. It is no longer just about producing accurate data, but about building decision-making models that effectively connect data, processes, technology and people.
This is the ground on which AKC has worked for years: supporting companies in the development of more integrated, scalable and sustainable performance management models. An approach that combines functional expertise, technological knowledge and execution capability, supported by strong specialization in the CCH® Tagetik platform and consolidated experience in international Finance Transformation projects.
The AKC brunch: dialogue and relationships with clients and partners
Our participation opened on the morning of 19 May with a brunch dedicated to AKC clients and partners.
A moment designed to create a space for direct, informal dialogue before the start of the official sessions. An opportunity to reconnect, share experiences and discuss common challenges, strengthening those relationships that have always been a central element of the way we do consulting.
During the introductory session, we shared AKC’s journey of evolution, from a specialized boutique to an international partner for Finance Transformation, opening the dialogue on the next chapter together with VISEO. A step that is fully consistent with our values: expertise, closeness to the client and a results-driven focus.
In a context where technology and processes are increasingly central elements, the value of the relationship remains decisive. Every transformation project is in fact born from the ability to understand the client’s context and build together a concrete path, consistent with business objectives and with the organization’s level of maturity.
The session with NCC: harmonizing FP&A in complex environments
AKC took to the stage together with Nordic client NCC, bringing a concrete testimony of Finance transformation. The session, “The NCC Finance Transformation Journey – Harmonizing FP&A Across Complex Business Models”, recounted the journey undertaken by the organization towards a more structured and integrated Finance model, with a focus on harmonizing FP&A processes in contexts characterized by high complexity.
Through this joint testimony, it emerged how the project made it possible to evolve from fragmented and strongly local logics towards a more data-driven approach, improving transparency, alignment and the quality of decisions.
The discussion also highlighted the main challenges faced — from the complexity of systems to the definition of a shared operating model — and the importance of building trust between the parties in order to drive change. Experiences like this confirm a fundamental point: in Corporate Performance Management projects, technology is an enabler, but the real value arises from the integration of processes, governance and people.
AKC entra nel gruppo VISEO: una nuova fase di crescita
L’edizione 2026 di inTouch è stata anche la prima occasione per raccontare pubblicamente una nuova fase del percorso di AKC: l’ingresso nel gruppo VISEO.
Un passaggio strategico che rafforza le nostre competenze nella Finance Transformation e amplia la capacità di supportare i clienti su scala internazionale.
AKC continuerà a preservare la propria identità e il proprio approccio distintivo, beneficiando al tempo stesso di una piattaforma globale più ampia. Questo ci permetterà di accelerare la crescita, ampliare le capacità di delivery e supportare programmi di trasformazione sempre più complessi.
Un percorso che era già iniziato negli ultimi anni con l’espansione internazionale (AKC North America e AKC Nordic) e che oggi trova ulteriore consolidamento nella convergenza con VISEO, con l’obiettivo di costruire una proposta ancora più completa per la trasformazione digitale e organizzativa della funzione Finance.
Guardare al futuro della funzione Finance
CCH® Tagetik inTouch 2026 ha confermato una direzione ormai chiara: il futuro della funzione Finance sarà sempre più data-driven, integrato e supportato da tecnologie intelligenti, ma continuerà a richiedere metodo, competenze e capacità di governo del cambiamento.
AI, automazione, real-time reporting e continuous planning stanno ridefinendo il modo in cui le aziende pianificano, consolidano e interpretano le proprie performance. La vera sfida non è solo adottare nuove soluzioni, ma integrarle in modelli operativi coerenti e sostenibili nel tempo.
