How can actual, budget and forecast data be integrated coherently, turning technology from operational support into a strategic lever for the business? In a context of growing volatility, the Financial Planning & Control process can no longer be considered an exercise for the finance function alone.
It is a shared responsibility, one that requires a new alliance between CFO and CIO, built on a common vision of data, processes, technology and the strategies to be achieved.

Take part in the event”CFO and CIO leading Planning & Control processes“, organized by CCH Tagetik in collaboration with AKC, taking place on Tuesday 24 February from 9:30 in Bologna, at the MAST – Manifattura di Arti, Sperimentazione e Tecnologia. The event, by exclusive invitation, will be a round table for discussion and shared experience featuring the CFO and the CIO as protagonists. Through the direct contribution of leaders driving the digital and finance evolution of major companies, we will discover how CFOs and CIOs can work together to steer a real change of mindset, helping the Finance function move beyond fragmented logics and adopt a continuous, integrated and data-driven planning model.

The meeting

In this workshop you will discover how CFOs and CIOs can collaborate to build a more modern, integrated and data-driven planning model. Starting from the challenges linked to growing volatility, we will analyze how to integrate actual, budget and forecast into a single, continuous process, and how shared data governance can improve the speed and quality of decisions.

During the event we will hear the complementary perspectives of CFO and CIO, in particular:

CFO – From data to governance
Stefano Cecconi, Head of Management Control at OVS
will illustrate how a technology-enabled Finance can transform integrated data into strategic insights and evolve from a control function into a true business partner.

CIO – IT as an enabler of change Massimiliano Bartolozzi, CIO of Lucart and AUSED Board Member
Viola Frediani, IT Finance/HR and Business Intelligence Manager at Lucart
will recount how the IT function can take on a leading role in redesigning Planning & Control processes.

The location

It is a cultural and technological center dedicated to innovation, art and industry. It is a multi-purpose complex of over 25,000 sqm that houses exhibition spaces, an auditorium, educational areas and multimedia installations, created to promote creativity, technical culture and dialogue between business and the community.

At the end of the event there will be a guided tour of the exhibition “Living, Working, Surviving” by photographer Jeff Wall, one of the most important contemporary artists in the world.
